Spring/Summer Trends 2011

So I shot a video showing great spring trends & how you can make them wearable, but I didn't like it so I'm just going to post this instead :)

• Prints worn together-- leopard with stripes with plaid with polka dots. You can basically pull off pairing tons of patterns together.

• Wear tons of bright colors together as well. This is great to carry into the summer months as well.

• Well guys, it looks like rompers are in for another season. Try buying these in bright colors or crazy patterns and pairing them with a colorful scarf or feather earrings to switch it up a little bit.

• It just wouldn't be spring without florals. So again, like every spring, you cannot go wrong with florals. Try dainty flowers or light pink for a feminine touch. You can always add masculine details if you're feeling too girly!

• looks like nude footwear is also still "in" heels or flats... you can't go wrong with nude. After all, it goes with absolutely everything. Another plus is that it makes your legs look uber long!

• I think denim on denim is a cool trend as well. It's very 80s, which I love. Wear a light denim button up top tucked in to dark skinny denim jeans. Wear with a light brown belt to top it off or add a red belt for a splash of color.

• Maxidresses were so last summer so maxi SKIRTS are so this summer. Pair with a plain tank top or flowy blouse it's your choice!

• Horizontal stripes are a great staple for your spring/summer wardrobe
• High waisted jeans & bottoms are also very in style. Make sure you tuck your top in though so everyone can see those high waisters!

• Hello platform shoes! Plus, if you're short this is perfect for you to look taller, not to mention it will make anyone's legs look 10 miles long.
